Job Description:
As an Associate National Account Director, you will serve as a central lead educating stakeholders (especially institutions interested in PrEP) and improving patient access to Gilead’s long-acting injectable products. You will quarterback a matrix team including field reimbursement managers, medical liaisons, nurse educators, national account directors, sales, and market access.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships across IDNs, targeted healthcare systems/hospitals, and FQHC/community clinics.
- Own account strategy and contract pull-throughs where appropriate.
- Leverage relationships to increase demand and access for long-acting injectable products by targeting influencers/decision-makers.
- Align with Medical, Sales, Marketing, and other operational functions to support a combined customer engagement strategy and product access/coverage.
- Execute defined call plans with C-suite, pathway, and P&T committee members; promote LAIs with Field Reimbursement.
- Engage key account influencers (e.g., Director of Pharmacy, infectious disease heads, Medical/P&T evaluation committees).
- Build/manage account profiles (protocol development, pathway placement, pull-through targets, key influencers).
- Act as cross-functional lead maintaining the strategic account plan.
- Use in-person tactics: account visits, contract strategy (where appropriate), and provide clinical/efficacy/safety information.
- Lead strategic launch planning across Sales, Market Access, Trade Relations, Value Access, Contracting, Medical, HEOR, and Marketing.
- Meet onsite visitation/hospital credentialing requirements if applicable.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree + 10 years’ experience OR Master’s degree + 8 years’ experience OR PhD + 2 years’ experience.

Preferred Qualifications (skills/experience):
- Account management/managed markets; HIV/PrEP experience; cultural humility with buy-and-bill product
- Contracting and institution new product launch experience
- 2 years in corporate/region/national/key account role with direct access/payer/health system experience
- Ability to inspire/influence/lead without authority; execute physician/account strategic plans
- Strong communication, negotiation, business acumen, analytical and project management skills
- Travel 25–50% with overnight travel.

Benefits/Compensation:
- Salary range: $191,250.00–$247,500.00. May be eligible for discretionary bonus, long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
