The Associate Director, Medical Affairs Omnichannel Engagement supports the Director of Medical Affairs Omnichannel Engagement and MM&SPE to execute and govern the medical omnichannel engagement strategy in specific therapeutic areas.
Responsibilities:
- Lead change across teams/therapeutic areas to standardize, optimize, and modernize scientific engagement
- Govern bi-directional exchange plans across CMR to identify efficiency and impact indicators
- Collaborate with key stakeholders within CMR and NNI to align and inform
- Harmonize systems/strategy across therapeutic areas to standardize regulated processes for content, audience, and channel orchestration
- Identify, collect, automate, and analyze data to guide focus and priorities in the scientific engagement model
- Stay informed on advancements in digital communication capabilities in pharma/regulatory spaces
Physical Requirements:
- 5β15% overnight travel; field-based role (remote anywhere in the U.S.)
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree required; advanced or scientific doctoral degree preferred (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD)
- 5+ years in the pharmaceutical industry and medical/scientific affairs
- Preferred: experience in more than one functional area (field medical, medical information, scientific communications, etc.)
- Demonstrated project leadership/management with measured outcomes (digital project experience prioritized)
- Ability to work across short- and long-term timelines and multiple therapeutic areas
- Strong operational process creation/efficiency and data collection for analysis
- Excellent written/verbal communication and change/stakeholder management
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Compensation/Bonus:
- Base pay range: $148,290β$259,510; eligible for company bonus based on individual and company performance.
