The Associate Manager, HCP and Patient Engagement supports execution of Healthcare Professional (HCP) and patient programs across marketed products, developing and executing HCP/patient engagement initiatives and working cross-functionally with Sales, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, and others.
Essential Job Functions
- Support Associate Director in developing objectives/strategies for HCP and patient programs across brands.
- Build and maintain compliant vendor management systems (including onboarding and partner payments).
- Develop and deliver content/collateral/campaign assets aligned to brand strategy.
- Manage materials through legal/regulatory review and MAP meeting action items.
- Support internal team and agency partners for peer-to-peer program strategy; operationalize new processes.
- Evaluate and implement process improvements to increase project speed while complying with rules/regulations and company policies.
- Manage the marketing project management tool for visibility and communication.
- Maintain HCP/patient engagement budget and vendors; track ROI/cost savings and growth areas.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and privacy with Commercial Operations.
- Optimize Veeva PromoMats with MAP Coordinator/internal team.
- Manage marketing contracts and purchase orders (cross-functional review, timely execution, updates to project owners).
- Oversee end-to-end print collateral process (partners, budget/inventory, fulfillment monitoring, orders, print proofs/quantities, drop shipment).
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in business/marketing or related field.
- Minimum 3 years marketing or sales experience (preferably pharmaceuticals/healthcare/related).
- 2β3 years operations experience.
- Fast-paced autonomy; FDA advertising/promotion regulations knowledge.
- Proficiency: Veeva, Microsoft Office (Excel), and project management tools.
- Strong collaboration, organization, analytical skills, written/verbal communication.
Working Conditions
- Periodic evenings/weekends; ~25% overnight travel.
- Hybrid Chicago role: at least 3 days/week in office.
Compensation (as stated)
- Anticipated base salary range: $96,000β$128,000.
