Associate Field Access Director, Washington DC

Role: Field Access Manager (FAM), a customer-facing position focused on patient access and payor engagement within the biopharma sector. Responsibilities: educate healthcare providers on prior authorization, coverage, appeals, and alternative funding; build and maintain relationships with providers and health systems; monitor patient cases; apply knowledge of specialty and retail pharmacy distribution channels; ensure compliance with regulations; develop local access strategies; collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to enhance access services and customer experience. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent; minimum 5 years in pharmaceutical or healthcare, with experience in managed markets, specialty pharmacies, and biologics preferred; strong interpersonal, decision-making, and strategic planning skills; ability to work in a field environment 3-4 days weekly.
