Associate Director, US Oncology Marketing β Lung Scientific Strategy Lead
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage development of scientific strategy aligned with brand strategy for NSCLC portfolio (inline therapies and anticipated new asset launch).
- Develop and execute scientific leader engagement strategy; drive congress planning and booth execution aligned to brand goals.
- Monitor evolving treatment landscape, including clinical trials and competitive scientific activity, to inform strategy.
- Partner with metastatic HCP strategy lead to build counter-competitive strategy and execution plan.
- Lead medical education efforts with cross-functional teams; translate scientific narrative into education programs.
- Partner with Medical Affairs on advisory boards to incorporate scientific leader perspectives before/after key congresses.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize and facilitate internal resource trade-offs (e.g., budget planning, promotional reviews).
- Embed scientific strategy perspective into HCP strategy, execution, resource, and training opportunities.
Qualifications & Required Skills:
- Bachelorβs degree; minimum 5 years pharma/biotech experience in marketing or related commercial role.
- High emotional intelligence and collaborative leadership; mentors and adapts style.
- Self-starter with hands-on, results-driven approach; removes barriers with minimal supervision.
- Strong program/project management; manages multiple initiatives, priorities, and deadlines.
- Strategic thinker with operational discipline; translates strategy into executable plans with measurable KPIs.
- Communicator (written/verbal), rapid learner, strong analytical orientation, influential collaborator/negotiator.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree (MBA/PharmD), oncology experience, and US market marketing/commercial experience.
