Job Title: Associate Director, Medical Affairs
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
- Serve as a content manager and product expert; key contributor and knowledge expert for HIV treatment and prevention
- Independently manage projects analyzing novel/emerging data to incorporate into medical content trainings
- Work with the Global MA HIV treatment and prevention team to review/update HIV treatment slide decks and local/global response documents
- Create US-focused medical training documents to support field Medical Scientists
- Collaborate with Medical Scientists, Medical Information, Clinical Research, and Clinical Pharmacology to support medical inquiry responses and conference slide development
- Provide medical and scientific input on the US Promotional Review Committee as needed
- Attend medical conferences to gather relevant information and support conference deck/training activities
- Collaborate with Senior Director to develop US Plan of Action and ensure alignment of team activities
- Support US and Global HIV Medical Affairs Advisory Programs, as needed
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:
- MD/DO/NP/PA/PharmD or other advanced healthcare degree with 5 years relevant experience
- 3β5 years industry experience preferred
- Relevant clinical experience in HIV required
- Experience providing medical information, slide development, medical writing, and conference management required
- Excellent verbal/written/visual communication; interpersonal skills; experience preparing budgets, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations
- Patient-centric care experience desired
- Commitment to continuing education
- Ability to use moderately complex scientific resources across settings
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- Travel to domestic/international conferences (occasional weekend travel) required
- Ability to adapt to organizational growth and change
Compensation/Benefits (as stated): Salary range $195,670.00β$253,220.00; may be eligible for discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
