Associate Director, Urology - Oncology Key Accounts (West)

PRIMARY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leadership: Build trust through communication/collaboration; lead in ambiguity to meet deadlines; influence without authority to drive consensus.
- Clinical Proficiency: Provide approved disease/product information; maximize appropriate portfolio utilization; align responses to external quality initiatives and customer needs using approved resources; understand treatment decision factors (pathways, protocols, sites of care, guidelines/initiatives).
- Business Acumen: Use internal data/analytics to identify account opportunities; develop coordinated longitudinal account plans based on market trends; apply B2B understanding of buying decisions; coordinate with healthcare business partners; manage contract pull-through with local account teams.
- Operational/Account Management: Establish account strategy aligned with marketing; align brand strategy/tactics to customer needs and business objectives; build relationships with key decision makers/influencers; use approved tools to capture/share customer info.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Required)
- Bachelorβs degree OR high school diploma + 4+ years relevant experience (professional sales, marketing, military, healthcare/scientific).
- 2+ years relevant healthcare/life sciences/sales/account management/managed care experience.
- Valid driverβs license.
- Relationship-building with senior healthcare executives/KOLs; financial acumen; healthcare ecosystem knowledge.
- Excellent communication; cross-functional matrix leadership.
- Travel ~50%.
PREFERRED
- Advanced degree; local market relationships.
- Experience in large Oncology group practices and integrated delivery networks (Oncology/Hematology).
