Associate Director, Urology - Oncology Key Accounts (West geography: CA, WA, OR, ID, NV, MT, WY, UT). Prefer candidates live within geography near a major airport.
Primary Activities & Responsibilities
- Leadership: Build trust; lead through ambiguity; influence without authority to reach consensus.
- Clinical Proficiency: Provide approved disease/product information; maximize appropriate portfolio utilization; tailor responses to quality initiatives and customer needs; understand treatment decision factors (pathways, protocols, sites of care, guidelines).
- Business Acumen: Use internal data/analytics to identify engagement opportunities; develop and execute longitudinal account plans; understand B2B buying dynamics and coordinate with healthcare business partners.
- Operational/Account Management: Align account strategy and brand tactics to customer needs and business objectives; build relationships with key decision makers; use approved tools to capture and communicate internally.
Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelorβs degree OR high school diploma + 4+ years relevant experience (sales/marketing/military/healthcare-scientific).
- 2+ years relevant experience (healthcare/life sciences sales/account management/managed care).
- Valid driverβs license.
- Build relationships with senior executives/KOLs; financial acumen; strong healthcare ecosystem knowledge; strong communication and leadership in cross-functional teams; travel ~50%.
Preferred
- Advanced degree; local market relationships; account management experience in large oncology group practices/integrated delivery networks focused on Oncology/Hematology.
Required skills (high level): Account management, customer management, data analysis/financial acumen, contract management, product knowledge, influencing without authority, organizational leadership.
