PRIMARY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership
- Build and maintain trust through effective communication and collaboration.
- Lead through challenging/ambiguous situations; prioritize based on urgency, impact, and resources.
- Influence others and lead without authority; foster collaborative problem-solving and consensus.
Clinical Proficiency
- Understand the product portfolio to provide approved disease/product information to key decision makers.
- Maximize appropriate utilization of the portfolio to improve patient outcomes.
- Align responses to external quality initiatives using approved resources/messages.
- Understand treatment decision factors (pathways, protocols, sites of care, guidelines/quality initiatives).
Business Acumen
- Use internal data/analytics to understand account performance and identify engagement opportunities.
- Develop and pull through longitudinal account plans; track emerging markets and business trends.
- Apply B2B buying dynamics; use approved messages/resources with healthcare business partners.
- Coordinate with local account teams to support contract pull-through and local contract requests.
Operational/Account Management
- Establish account strategy aligned to marketing guidance; align brand strategy/tactics with customer needs.
- Build relationships with decision makers/influencers; identify approved resources; understand entry access points.
- Use approved tools to capture/share internally about the customer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree OR high school diploma + 4 years relevant experience (sales, marketing, military, or healthcare/scientific).
- 2+ years relevant experience in healthcare/life sciences, sales, account management, or managed care.
- Valid driverโs license.
- Build relationships with senior healthcare executives and key opinion leaders.
- Financial acumen; communicate value and negotiate (if applicable).
- Strong understanding of healthcare ecosystem; excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership; ability to collaborate in cross-functional/matrix organizations.
- Ability to travel ~50%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree.
- Local market relationships and customer knowledge.
- Account management experience in large Oncology group practices and integrated delivery networks focused on Oncology/Hematology.
Geography/Work Notes
- Responsible for South Atlantic geography: SC, NC, GA, FL, TN, KY; candidate should live within geography.
- Remote work arrangement.
