PRIMARY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership
- Build and maintain trust through effective communication, integration, and collaboration.
- Lead through challenging/ambiguous situations; prioritize tasks by urgency, impact, and resources.
- Influence others and lead without authority; foster collaborative problem-solving and consensus-building.
Clinical Proficiency
- Understand the product portfolio and provide approved disease/product information to key decision makers.
- Maximize appropriate utilization of portfolio to improve patient outcomes.
- Align and tailor responses to external quality initiatives using approved resources/messages.
- Understand treatment decision factors (pathways, protocols, sites of care, guidelines, quality initiatives).
Business Acumen
- Use internal data/analytics to assess account performance and identify engagement opportunities.
- Develop/pull through a coordinated, longitudinal account plan based on market trends.
- Apply knowledge of B2B buying dynamics; use approved messages with healthcare business partners.
- Coordinate with local account teams to ensure contract pull-through and address local contract needs.
Operational/Account Management
- Establish account strategy aligned with marketing guidance; align brand strategy/tactics to customer needs and objectives.
- Build relationships with decision makers/influencers; identify approved resources; understand access points and stakeholders.
- Use approved tools to capture/share internal customer information.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Required)
- Bachelorโs OR minimum high school diploma + 4+ years relevant experience (sales/marketing/military/healthcare-scientific).
- 2+ years relevant experience in healthcare/life sciences/sales/account management/managed care.
- Valid Driverโs License.
- Build relationships with senior healthcare executives and KOLs.
- Financial acumen; negotiate/value communicate (as applicable).
- Strong healthcare ecosystem knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills; lead cross-functionally in matrix organizations.
- Travel ~50%.
Preferred
- Advanced degree; local market relationships.
- Account management experience in large oncology group practices and integrated delivery networks focused on oncology/hematology.
