Position Summary
High-visibility, high-impact Associate Director, Patient Marketing role for admilparant US Brand Team supporting a potential first-in-class launch in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and progressive pulmonary fibrosis (PPF).
Responsibilities
- Drive strategic planning and execution of patient marketing IPF initiatives; manage agencies/vendors.
- Serve as product champion; cultivate PF expertise.
- Ensure IPF tactical execution (messaging/creative) is rooted in brand strategy; pull patient/care partner insights across key channels.
- Manage operational and budget needs (e.g., meeting planning, quarterly budget submissions, agency reconciliations).
- Support internal reviews and coordinate with external partners for timely, compliant, accurate tactical project prep.
- Partner with market research/analytics to align strategies/tactics to customer insights and KPIs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (marketing, communications, advocacy/patient voice, Patient Access Support Solutions, CASA) to align execution to patient experience blueprint.
- Enable pull-through of branded/unbranded patient support materials with HCP marketing and field teams.
- Build PF community relationships with ILD advocates, patients, care partners, and pulmonology APPs; plan/execute advocacy meetings and key events.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree required; MBA/advanced degree a plus.
- Minimum 5 years industry experience (pharma/biotech or related agency).
- Patient marketing experience preferred; US product launch experience preferred.
- Omnichannel, Strategy & Operations, Corporate Communications, or Advocacy experience considered.
- Pulmonology (ILD), respiratory, or orphan/rare disease experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, project management, accountability in matrixed environments.
- Experience managing external partners.
- Ability to navigate internal MLR review processes.
- Budget tracking/management; highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Agile learning; experience implementing innovative marketing ideas.
