HCV Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) β national scope responsible for strategic direction that uncovers and accelerates MAVYRET business results; leads a team of regional TLLs.
Key responsibilities:
- Understand HCV market drivers, competitive landscape, and provider dynamics; reflect changes in brand strategy.
- Set TLL strategy; collaborate on HCP/Consumer marketing strategy, resource optimization, and tactic development.
- Partner with senior leaders to identify national marketing opportunities/projects.
- Bridge sales and marketing to close communication/business gaps and act on national/regional opportunities.
- Set KOL strategy; lead in-field execution, identify future leaders, and plan externally facing KOL activities (sponsorships, conventions, ad boards).
- Lead development/execution of customized marketing plans with KPI-based measurement.
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors (agency partners, marketing, market research, legal, regulatory, medical affairs, corporate compliance, consumer marketing, BTS).
- Manage TLL promotional budget.
- HCV-specific: develop account-based plans in low-barrier treatment models (e.g., SAMHSA grant recipients); evolve the ELIMINation program; ensure TLLs connect external opportunities to internal execution; maintain Medicaid exclusive state contractual obligations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs Degree.
- 8+ years sales/sales management/marketing; at least 2 years in hepatology/virology/addiction medicine; 3+ years HCP-related activities.
- Agency/vendor management; strong project management/communication; analytical/strategic thinking; collaboration and influence through others; self-starter.
- Ability to apply medical/clinical product knowledge to marketing strategy; experience using quantitative/qualitative market research/data.
- Strong written/interpersonal skills; cross-functional work.
- Satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements for territory entry and maintain good standing/eligibility.
- Drive personal/company vehicle or powered material handling equipment; valid driverβs license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
Preferred:
- Deep HCV market knowledge; addiction medicine market knowledge; sales/sales management experience; patient advocacy experience.
