Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (Gastroenterology) — field-based, non-sales role (Territory: TX, NM, OK, AR, LA; 60–80% travel; live in territory; valid driver’s license).
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct discussions on therapeutic areas, disease states, and corporate overviews
- Collaborate and communicate cross-functionally to ensure strategic/tactical cohesiveness with external Gastroenterology Key Thought Leaders (KTLs)
- Plan and execute key KTL engagements and senior executive encounters at conferences, POAs, and field venues
- Serve as liaison between thought leaders and home office cross-functional teams
- Support on-label KTL development (e.g., speakers) with approved decks/materials
- Facilitate speaker logistics, scheduling, and timely cross-functional communication
- Provide feedback on GI franchise and brand-related marketing strategies/materials to commercial leadership
- Recommend advisory board participants and attend advisory boards as needed
- Facilitate speaker bureau management, recommendations, and contracting when requested
- Follow and be knowledgeable of applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies
Qualifications / Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree or advanced education/certification a plus
- 5+ years in specialty pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical work in key thought leader management, market development, field sales, product marketing, and/or medical/clinical experience
- Experience in Gastroenterology and/or Allergy markets, including a similar subcutaneous, self-injectable biologic specialty market
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams toward a shared vision
- Ability to present effectively to individuals or groups
- Proven leadership skills (past leadership experience a plus) and strong organizational skills
- Strong project management/analytical and planning skills; handle multiple projects
- Ability to complete strategic/tactical plans under tight timelines
- Launch experience preferred
