Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison - Dermatology

Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with Dermatology Medical Experts (established and emerging).
- Conduct compliant Medical Expert engagements to generate insights for strategic priorities.
- Facilitate discussions using approved resources to inform marketing and educational strategies.
- Capture, synthesize, and communicate actionable insights to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support peer-to-peer education (expert insights, speaker development, educational planning).
- Moderate approved educational programs and peer exchanges per company policies.
- Lead/support advisory boards, insight forums, speaker initiatives, and other marketing programs.
- Coordinate Medical Expert engagements for congresses, society meetings, and external events.
- Partner across Marketing, Medical Affairs, HCP Education, and Congress teams.
- Use digital tools/CRM to improve engagement planning, insight generation, and collaboration.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (related field); MBA/advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in Thought Leader/Medical Expert engagement, field-based/regional marketing, HCP education, Medical Science Liaison, account management, medical communications, or related pharma/biotech role.
- Live within the territory (between Philadelphia and Washington, DC; Mid-Atlantic). Local candidates only; no relocation.
- Travel up to 80%; ability to drive/fly within territory; valid driver’s license.
- Proven compliant relationship-building with physicians/APRs/HCPs and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of field-based marketing, Medical Expert engagement, insight generation, peer-to-peer education, congress planning, and compliant cross-functional collaboration.
- Strategic execution, multitasking, analytical/communication/facilitation skills; influence without authority.
- Organizational/project management, problem-solving, decision-making.
- Experience with CRM/digital engagement/insight capture.
- Financial/budget acumen.
- Strong compliance/ethical professionalism.
Desirable Requirements:
- Dermatology therapeutic area experience.
Driving: Essential function—must have a fully valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
