Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison - Dermatology

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and strengthen relationships with established and emerging Medical Experts across Dermatology.
- Conduct compliant Medical Expert engagements to generate insights supporting strategic business priorities.
- Facilitate discussions using approved resources to inform marketing and educational strategies.
- Capture, synthesize, and communicate actionable insights to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support peer-to-peer education via expert insights, speaker development, and educational planning.
- Moderate approved educational programs and peer exchanges per company policies.
- Lead or support advisory boards, insight forums, speaker initiatives, and other marketing programs.
- Coordinate Medical Expert engagement for congresses, society meetings, and external events.
- Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, HCP Education, and Congress teams to execute aligned strategies.
- Use digital tools and CRM platforms to enhance engagement planning and collaboration.
Qualifications (Essential):
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; MBA/advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in Thought Leader/Medical Expert engagement, field-based/region marketing, HCP education, MSL/account management, medical communications, or related pharma/biotech role.
- Reside within the territory (ideal between Philadelphia and Washington, DC); travel up to 80%; valid driver’s license.
- Proven ability to develop compliant relationships with physicians/APs and other healthcare stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of field-based marketing, Medical Expert engagement, peer education, and compliant cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to execute strategy, manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Organizational, project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with CRM/digital engagement/insight capture tools; financial/budget acumen; strong compliance/ethical professionalism.
Desirable:
- Dermatology therapeutic area experience.
- Cross-functional experience across Marketing, Medical Affairs, HCP Education, and Congress Strategy.
Driving: Essential; fully valid, unrestricted driver’s license required.
Field training: complete initial training, including home study and limited daily/weekly training hours.
