Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison - Dermatology

Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with established and emerging Dermatology Medical Experts.
- Conduct compliant Medical Expert engagements to generate insights supporting strategic business priorities.
- Facilitate discussions using approved resources to inform marketing and educational strategies.
- Capture, synthesize, and communicate actionable insights to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support peer-to-peer education (expert insights, speaker development, educational planning).
- Moderate approved educational programs and peer exchanges per company policies.
- Lead/support advisory boards, insight forums, speaker initiatives, and other marketing programs.
- Coordinate Medical Expert engagements for congresses, society meetings, and external events.
- Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, HCP Education, and Congress Strategy to execute aligned strategies.
- Use digital tools/CRM to enhance engagement planning and collaboration.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (related field); MBA/advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years in Thought Leader/Medical Expert engagement, field-based/regional marketing, HCP education, MSL/account management, medical communications, or related pharma/biotech role.
- Live within the Mid-Atlantic territory; ideal between Philadelphia and Washington, DC.
- Up to 80% travel; must be able to drive and/or fly within the territory; valid driver’s license.
- Demonstrated ability to develop productive, compliant relationships with physicians/APRs/HCPs.
- Strong understanding of field-based marketing, compliant cross-functional collaboration, insight generation, peer-to-peer education, and congress planning.
- Ability to execute strategic plans, manage multiple priorities, and deliver in a matrixed environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, presentation, organizational, and project management skills.
- Experience with CRM/digital engagement/insight capture.
- Financial/budget acumen and strong compliance/ethical professionalism.
Desirable Requirements:
- Dermatology therapeutic area experience.
Driving is an essential function—fully valid, unrestricted driver’s license required.
Compensation/Benefits (explicit):
- Salary range: $145,600–$270,400/year; performance-based cash incentive; potential annual equity (role-dependent).
