Key Responsibilities:
- Support development and execution of integrated communications strategies based on market dynamics, stakeholder insights, and evolving trends.
- Partner with development and commercial teams to advance brand and therapeutic area objectives.
- Collaborate across communications functions (media, digital, executive/internal, patient advocacy, issues management, analytics) to deliver coordinated campaigns.
- Lead brand and disease-state narrative development using modern content strategies optimized for AI-enabled and search-driven environments.
- Protect and strengthen the reputation of Novartis and the CVM portfolio via proactive issues identification, risk assessment, and strategic planning.
- Develop and maintain reporting frameworks to measure effectiveness and business impact.
- Ensure compliant execution with legal/regulatory/company requirements.
- Manage communications agency partnerships and budgets.
Essential Requirements:
- Contribute to CVM communications strategies supporting reputation and therapeutic area objectives.
- Deliver strong, consistent, differentiated storytelling across audiences/channels.
- Align CVM communications priorities across the therapeutic area.
- Drive audience engagement and narrative adoption in AI-powered/search-based environments.
- Use OGSM planning principles to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Manage issues and reputation risks across CVM brands and pipeline assets.
- Gather feedback and demonstrate ownership and continuous growth.
Desirable Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 7+ years in communications/brand communications (including data and regulatory milestones).
- Agency and budget management; crisis/issues management; pharmaceutical experience preferred.
Benefits & Rewards:
- Salary expected between $126,000 and $234,000/year (final depends on skills/experience; performance incentive; annual equity eligibility by level; US benefits package and time off).
