Associate Director, Strategic Forecasting

Primary Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Strategic Forecasting Insights Director to determine appropriate forecast modeling approaches, tools, and techniques for respective asset(s) and/or indication(s).
- Partner with BIA, Market Research, Data Science, Payer Analytics, and other DHH functions to develop insights strategies and ensure necessary inputs for strategic forecasting.
- Develop and deliver forecasts and forecasting insights for forecasting cycles aligned with the enterprise forecasting process (in a matrixed team with US and India-based colleagues).
- Support ongoing business understanding of actual performance vs. forecast, including drivers.
- Align with Marketing, Market Access, and Finance on inputs, outputs, and overall forecasting insights for each cycle.
- Apply a range of forecasting capabilities to support business strategy and decision-making.
- Partner in a highly matrixed organization to operate as One Team.
- Drive frequent, clear communication on the forecasting process, inputs, and insights.
- Enable interconnected problem-solving with DHH and business colleagues on targeted business questions.
- Act as a thought leader/strategic partner through close, trust-based relationships.
- Understand stakeholder priorities and develop forecasting solutions supporting business objectives.
- Travel may be required.

Required Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
- 5+ years delivering complex analytical projects in pharma/biotech using market research and/or large patient/physician databases.
- Experience developing forecast models and/or related analytics (e.g., scenario analysis, business case development).
- Experience in highly cross-functional, matrixed teams; collaborate and lead with empathy.
- Experience leading diverse groups and managing ambiguity.
- Self-motivated; able to work independently and β€œlead without authority.”
- Ability to translate business questions into hypotheses and requirements for analysis; strong problem-solving with data-driven analytical methods.
- Ability to operate in an unstructured environment; strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Therapeutic area experience (oncology, vaccines, pharma/rare).
- Advanced forecasting experience (e.g., patient-based/trend-based models, scenarios/simulations) and TA modeling nuance.
- Consultative business partner experience (company or consulting).
- Prior experience with Marketing, Market Access, Finance, Market Research, Data Science, or Payer Analytics.

Compensation/Benefits (if applicable):
- Salary range: $156,900.00 - $247,000.00. Eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable. Comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, retirement/401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.
