About the Role / Responsibilities:
- Accountable for Takeda’s “Partner for Access” strategy across 5–12 priority accounts plus select non-priority accounts; own access across Commercial, Medicare, State Medicaid, and Managed Medicaid.
- Gain/protect/improve profitable formulary and medical-policy access; execute strategic account plans.
- Serve as “Face of Managed Markets” and main point of contact for market access topics across business units.
- Work with matrix colleagues to identify market access trends/opportunities and drive pull-through.
- Communicate access changes and local impact to maximize wins and mitigate losses.
- Secure/maintain formulary or written medical policy placement; optimize payer opportunities using analytics/data; negotiate contracts and meet revenue/rebate objectives.
- Build and maintain payer/customer relationships; quarterback account interactions and initiatives across internal functions.

Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree
- 3+ years leadership (1st/2nd line) or payer account management experience
- Broad portfolio experience across therapeutic areas; ability to manage multiple regional PBMs/payers

Preferred:
- Specialty/rare disease market experience
- Deep understanding of commercial, Medicare, and PBM business and regional decision-making
