Your Contributions (include, But Are Not Limited To)
- Create and/or update financial models and analyses to support decision-making and provide key insights to Senior Leaders and R&D project teams.
- Act as senior business partner for assigned R&D programs and functions as an embedded resource delivering financial information and data-driven business insights.
- Develop monthly and quarterly financial reports with variance reporting; partner on annual forecast and long-range plan; support quarterly latest estimate process.
- Lead technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance; gather/analyze/prepare/summarize recommendations for investments across R&D; prepare financial analyses to support business requirements, governance interactions, and overall financial health.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses leading to actionable business recommendations (e.g., capital requirements, depreciation, ROI).
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners across R&D, Medical Affairs, Human Resources, IT, Purchasing, and Accounting.
- Support accounting by assisting with periodic contract accruals analyses.
- Challenge and develop current processes and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Perform other functions and projects as assigned by Senior Management (other duties as assigned).

- Integrate analysis of business objectives and strategic direction to recommend solutions; contribute to short-term and functional-level long-term strategy.

Job Specific Knowledge & Qualifications
- BS/BA in finance, accounting, or related field plus 10+ years of finance/accounting experience (FP&A in biopharma preferred) and FP&A systems experience; OR Master’s degree/MBA preferred with 8+ years of similar experience.
- Life science experience.
- FP&A expertise, including systems and tools.
- Ability to bridge communication gaps between finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- US GAAP knowledge.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; computer proficient.
- Professional handling of confidential materials/information.
- Process improvement mindset; self-motivated and self-directed.

Compensation (base)
- $163,500.00–$223,000.00 annual base salary (individual pay depends on location, role complexity/responsibility, duties/requirements, and experience/skills).
