Associate Director, Publications

Responsibilities:
- Lead development and execution of aligned dissemination plans for clinical, HEOR/RWE, PKPD, and disease-state publications.
- Ensure scientific/clinical/health-outcomes publications are accurate, readable, and delivered on time.
- Shape scientific narrative/lexicon and translate statistical findings into clear strategic communication.
- Guide cross-functional and alliance-wide publication teams through collaborative alignment and research.
- Oversee budget, forecasting, and resource allocation; track expenditures and flag issues early.
- Partner cross-functionally to identify gaps/opportunities and evolve publication strategy.
- Manage timelines, quality, and efficiency; maintain compliant records in the Publication Management Tool (e.g., iEnvision).
- Track and report post-publication metrics.
- Review and submit manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations with cross-functional colleagues.

Qualifications:
- Master’s in science with 8+ years of related experience, or PhD/PharmD/MD with 5+ years in medical affairs, publications, or scientific communications.

Required/Preferred Skills:
- Strong publication, writing, and editing skills.
- Working knowledge of GPP 22, ICMJE, OIG, PhRMA code, Sunshine Act, and copyright/permission guidelines.
- Experience collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams and alliances with drug development partners.
- Preferred: Oncology, ophthalmology, or hematology experience.
