Associate Director, Patient Support Program Strategy

Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the Patient Support Program (PSP) strategy, service model, and capabilities (benefits investigation, case management, prior authorization support, affordability services, patient support workflows).
- Design patient enrollment and multi-consent strategy to support program participation, data collection/engagement, and treatment initiation.
- Establish brand-specific hub business rules, workflows, service requirements, and escalation pathways.
- Develop and oversee affordability strategy, copay structure, and financial assistance solutions.
- Partner to translate program strategy into operational execution (services, workflows, patient experience, business objectives).
- Support vendor selection and manage hub/affordability partner performance (service expectations, metrics, governance, continuous improvement).
- Set analytics/performance measures and reporting to identify barriers and optimize outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional coordination for compliant launch readiness (Market Access, Patient Access Operations, Finance, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Data/Technology).

Education
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS); MBA or equivalent preferred.

Required Experience and Skills
- 5+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare with experience across patient services/access, reimbursement support, affordability, or hub strategy.
- Experience designing/implementing/optimizing patient support programs and patient access capabilities.
- Knowledge of patient support/access landscape (hub services, payer dynamics, buy-and-bill, medical coverage, benefits verification, prior authorization/appeals, enrollment).
- Strong affordability program design knowledge (copay structures, financial assistance, eligibility, benefit limits, cost-share, governance).
- Experience designing enrollment/consent and PHI-aware data strategies.
- Strategic problem-solving; strong communication and matrix stakeholder management.

Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting commercialization/launch of advanced or individualized therapies; work with hub/patient support/specialty pharmacy/reimbursement/affordability vendors; deep oncology patient journey/reimbursement expertise.
