Patient Advocacy
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead development and execution of global patient activation strategy for the Rare Diseases portfolio, including a care pathway optimization model focusing on Systemic mastocytosis.
- Design and implement engagement programs to accelerate diagnosis, reduce diagnostic delays, and improve the patient journey from symptom onset through treatment.
- Drive global execution: define priorities and ensure seamless execution and communication.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure effectiveness and impact of patient activation initiatives; use data-driven insights to optimize programs.
- Advance and lead breakthrough programs (e.g., Prospective AI & agentic engagement model) to improve referrals, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Ensure patient engagement activities comply with regulatory requirements, ethical guidelines, and industry codes of conduct across all markets.
- Champion patient-centricity by bringing patient insights to leadership discussions and strategic planning.
- Manage budget allocation and resource planning for patient activation initiatives to maximize ROI and impact.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required in life sciences, public health, business, or related field.
- MBA, MPH, or advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 3-5+ years progressive experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.
- 3+ years consulting experience with AI adoption.
- Strongly preferred: rare disease / Systemic mastocytosis experience; experience addressing diagnostic challenges.
- Proven record building and scaling patient programs from concept to implementation.
- Global experience working across cultures and healthcare systems.
- Leadership experience managing teams (including remote/global).
- Exceptional strategic thinking; translates strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
- Outstanding communication/presentation skills; influence senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management in complex, matrixed organizations.
- Experience with digital health technologies and innovative engagement approaches.
