Associate Director, Patient Access and Reimbursement

Role: Associate Director, Patient Access and Reimbursement, supporting market access for Mirum's FDA-approved rare disease therapies, including LIVMARLI, CHOLBAM, and CTEXLI. Responsibilities: serve as a subject matter expert on payor policies, prior authorization, appeals, and reimbursement strategies; educate healthcare providers and office staff on the MAP program; analyze access trends and provide operational solutions; collaborate with cross-functional teams on case management and account strategies; develop educational materials; support MAP Patient Navigators; and ensure compliance with regulations. Requirements: Bachelor's in business, science, or related field; 8+ years in pharma/biotech, with 4+ years in orphan/rare disease specialty products; 3+ years in reimbursement, patient access, or market access roles; deep understanding of payer landscape and market access processes. Preferred: experience with specialty and orphan drugs, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and ability to travel up to 50%.
