Position objectives:
- Provide leadership and consultation on evidence generation methods for translational oncology/molecular epidemiology studies to support access, value demonstration, and medical implementation.
- Design and execute observational and real-world studies to support access, value demonstration, and medical implementation.
- Contribute to the value evidence plan and associated studies demonstrating clinical, economic, and patient-centered value.
- Support implementation of an RWE capability maturity model for global excellence in RWE generation (with local RWE experts and stakeholders).
- Communicate research findings to internal and external audiences, supporting development of communication resources.
Position accountabilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align research priorities and plans.
- Communicate with external audiences, including healthcare providers, health systems, HTAs, patient organizations, and others.
- Design and execute outcomes research studies with scientific leaders, patient organizations, academic medical centers, health systems, research organizations, database holders, and others.
- Prepare outcomes research protocols, statistical analysis plans (SAPs), and clinical study reports.
- Communicate findings at scientific conferences and via publications, dossiers, and other channels.
- Maintain awareness of scientific developments in the field.
- Apply expertise in translational oncology/molecular epidemiology, observational best practices, fitness-for-use, real-world evidence frameworks, and global guidelines for observational research.
Education minimum requirement:
- Doctoral or Masterโs degree in medicine, public health, management, epidemiology, biostatistics, health policy, pharmacy, economics, or a related discipline.
Required experience and skills:
- Laboratory experience to understand tissue processing (sample logistics, biobanking, pathology, QA/QC considerations).
- Expertise in diagnostic test modalities (e.g., IHC, ISH, PCR, NGS, digital pathology, multiplex) and assay sensitivity/specificity.
- Track record of scientific presentations and publications.
- 3+ years relevant experience if Masterโs degree only.
Preferred experience and skills:
- Doctoral degree.
- Experience in Oncology-related outcomes research and/or epidemiology.
