Position Summary:
- Drive the adoption and execution of the BMS operating system vision and strategy in line with business expectations.
- Oversee and collaborate with sites, functions, and the OpEx network to develop and implement strategies that build a continuous improvement culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Diagnostics and Focused Improvement initiatives.
- Coach sites and site leaders to develop and execute COMPASS Roadmaps using the BMS operating system.
- Apply Continuous Improvement and Lean tools to improve performance, reduce waste, and drive productivity.
- Facilitate Monthly Bowling Card reviews.
- Support process/operations changes and promote a โLead with Dataโ mindset and fact-based decision-making.
- Communicate complex quantitative analysis clearly and actionably; provide unbiased input on critical business issues and value levers.
- Establish and maintain SMART KPIs for safety, quality, service, cost, and efficiency.
- Define, optimize, and maintain end-to-end business processes.
- Lead workshops and improvement projects (Kaizen, DMAIC, PDCA, Lean Six Sigma).
- Identify high-impact opportunities; execute process improvements across the organization.
- Eliminate inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste; perform root cause problem solving.
- Optimize labor, facility, and space utilization; identify meaningful metrics and KPIs.
- Provide continuous improvement education/training, project intake, and prioritization; build organizational capability.
- Build matrix relationships to implement measurement and management systems.
- Ensure compliance with resource management policies and procedures.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Compass/process improvement; implement innovative solutions.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement; travel up to 50%.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelorโs degree in Engineering, Management, Project Management, or related field; MBA/advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years in operations, project management, or related field.
- 2+ years in OpEx with a heavy emphasis on focused improvements.
- Financial acumen to develop business cases.
- Proven experience managing complex projects and driving operational excellence.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Project management proficiency (Agile, Scrum, or PMP).

- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or similar.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt preferred.
- Ability to balance speed, quality, and risk with patient focus.
