Role Purpose
- Serve as the strategic connective layer between Companion Animals marketing stakeholders and the Digital Operations execution engine to align omnichannel strategy across web, email/SFMC, and digital content for pet owners and veterinary professionals.
- Translate business priorities into digital briefs, plan and prioritize the digital campaign backlog, and report performance to inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as primary point of contact and trusted advisor; embed digital/omnichannel thinking in brand and media planning.
- Align strategy across web, SFMC/email, and digital content into unified omnichannel customer-journey strategies.
- Develop and intake internal digital briefs (objectives, timelines, success metrics) to enable execution without rework.
- Own and prioritize multi-brand digital backlog; run intake/prioritization sessions; maintain templates/criteria/SLAs.
- Consolidate performance into business narratives and recommendations.
- Proactively manage risk (capacity constraints, conflicting priorities, scope changes) and maintain a two-way context flow.
- Ensure content accuracy, build success plans/benchmarks, champion cross-species best practices, and lead quarterly planning cycles.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Strong written/verbal communication; translate ambiguous requests into executable digital briefs.
- Experience managing a backlog/intake process across multiple stakeholders/brands.
- Working knowledge of web, email/SFMC, content, and paid/organic channels (briefing/scoping; not execution expertise).
- Comfort with performance data/dashboards to craft reporting narratives.
- 5+ years in digital marketing, marketing ops, or business-facing digital liaison/account role.
- Bachelorโs degree in Marketing/Business/Communications (or related).
- Familiarity with Veeva and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar).
Preferred
- Shared services/Center of Excellence experience; project management experience.
