How youβll make an impact:
- Own early commercial strategy for assigned programs.
- Develop disease/market landscapes (patient journey, paradigms, unmet needs, stakeholder decision drivers, market disruption).
- Partner with Clinical Development, Medical, Regulatory, Research, and Program Leadership to shape target product profiles and evidence-generation priorities.
- Lead indication prioritization/sequencing (scientific rationale, epidemiology, competition, feasibility, market access, commercial attractiveness).
- Build market models, revenue forecasts, and risk-adjusted assessments for portfolio/investment/long-range planning.
- Design/run primary and secondary market research with physicians, payers, and patients; convert insights into recommendations.
- Assess new targets, pipeline/lifecycle, and BD opportunities via integrated scientific/commercial analysis.
- Monitor competitors/mechanisms/clinical programs/emerging trends; identify intelligence questions and competitive scenarios.
- Provide news-flow updates and landscape syntheses; attend key meetings and produce post-congress readouts.
- Use AI-enabled intelligence tools responsibly; improve CI processes/templates/workflows.
- Translate complex scientific/clinical/financial information into executive narratives.
- Frame ambiguous questions, define analytical approaches, and drive projects to decisions.
Skills and experience youβll bring:
- PhD or MS (biology, immunology, pharmacology, biomedical/bioengineering, chemical engineering, or related) strongly preferred.
- 6+ years biopharma strategy/new product/commercial/competitive intelligence/market research/life-sciences consulting (PhD candidates may qualify with fewer years).
- Preferred boutique life-sciences strategy consultancy experience.
- Strong market research, forecasting/epidemiology/scenario modeling experience.
- Excellent written/verbal communication; strong PowerPoint/Excel; comfortable with AI-enabled research tools.
- Highly analytical, organized, proactive; strong judgment.
Compensation:
- Base salary $195,000β$275,000; annual bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits eligibility.
