Responsibilities
- Develop territory strategy to identify and engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in cardiovascular care; conduct proactive and reactive scientific exchange.
- Build relationships with HCPs (physicians, NPs, PAs, nurses, pharmacists) at institutional centers; identify unmet medical needs; share current medical information for products in development.
- Plan and execute congress activities; review conference programming, attend sessions, support exhibits, and submit a conference report with key insights and competitive intelligence.
- Serve as a scientific expert at conferences, advisory boards, investigator and internal meetings, and patient advocacy meetings.
- Maintain strong knowledge of disease state, science, treatment guidelines, available therapies, and pipeline HF/HCM treatments; track clinical research and competitive trends.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs on medical information, publications, medical education, grants, and speaker training.
- Support clinical development via point-of-contact activities for trial investigators, investigator-initiated research, and registries.
- Support field account specialists in compliance related to MYQORZO; respond timely to unsolicited Medical Information requests.
- (Associate Director) Mentor Sr. Medical Scientist; provide strategic input and execute regional plans for KOL engagement and Medical Affairs goals; pursue independent high-quality execution; maintain awareness of βreal worldβ practices/HEOR; connect external parties with leadership.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred.
- Advanced degree preferred (PharmD/PhD/MD-DO/MS/PA/ARNP).
- Sr. Medical Scientist: 0β5 years clinical or pharma industry experience.
- Associate Director: 5+ years CV MSL experience (HCM and/or HF preferable).
- Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills; understand MSL roles and compliance requirements (PhRMA, ACCME, Code of Conduct, promotional laws/regulations).
- Ability to comply with credentialing requirements for call plan sites.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
- Valid US Driverβs License; travel domestically (~30β50%) and occasionally internationally.
Pay Range
- $197,460.00β$247,800.00 (base salary; total compensation includes equity, benefits, 401k match, stipends, and PTO).
