Associate Director, Medical Science Liaison, Oncology - Southwest

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary field-based point of contact with healthcare providers (HCPs) and clinical investigators on clinical and scientific issues; deliver and facilitate medical education and communications, research, and scientific insight gathering.
- Develop and maintain deep knowledge of immuno-oncology/disease areas; Immunocore and competitor products/therapeutic options.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best patient care; align own activities to Immunocore medical strategy.
- Build synergistic relationships with KOLs to expand research, advisory, and educational opportunities.
- Maintain highest ethical compliance, ethics, and safety standards in accordance with local regulations.
- Act as educational resource to internal stakeholders; present to HCPs at meetings/conferences/advisory boards/investigator and patient advocacy groups.
- Respond to unsolicited medical information requests; proactively provide medical education as permitted by local laws.
- Lead and implement congress symposiums and other educational programs.
- Identify/map HCPs and networks/referral patterns; disseminate field insights and coordinate resolution of HCP needs/issues.
- Support congress planning/implementation; support trial site identification; facilitate engagement with investigators; lead ESR proposal collation/review and set-up/maintenance of approved studies.
Qualifications/Experience:
- 3β5+ years MSL experience.
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD).
- 3 years oncology experience (preferably immuno-oncology and melanoma) required.
- Knowledge of clinical research design and GCP in oncology/immuno-oncology.
- Strong understanding of trial design and study analysis; HEOR evidence/cost effectiveness.
- Knowledge of local healthcare systems and treatment guidelines.
- Ability to build trust and maintain integrity with KOLs, investigators, HCPs, and institutions; knowledge of relevant laws/regulations.
- Excellent presentation/communication skills; ability to tailor complex scientific concepts.
Skills/Requirements:
- Travel: 60%.
- Located within Southwest Territory (Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico).

Annual Salary Range: $170,000β$225,000
