Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) point of contact with HCPs and clinical investigators on clinical/scientific issues.
- Deliver and facilitate medical education and communications, research, and scientific insight gathering.
- Maintain deep expertise in immuno-oncology/disease areas and Immunocore products, competitor products, and therapeutic options.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align activities with Immunocore’s medical strategy and ensure best patient care.
- Build synergistic relationships with KOLs to expand research, advisory, and educational partnerships.
- Ensure highest ethical compliance and adherence to local regulations.
- Act as educational resource internally; serve as credible scientific expert externally at meetings and advisory boards.
- Respond to unsolicited medical information requests; proactively provide permissible medical education.
- Lead congress symposiums/educational programs; deliver tailored clinical presentations.
- Support early access programs.
- Identify/map HCPs and referral patterns; disseminate key field insights with cross-functional partners.
- Support congress planning/implementation; engage to resolve HCP needs/issues.
- Support trial site identification; facilitate communication with investigators; review ESR proposals and set up/maintain approved studies.
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years MSL experience.
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD).
- 3 years oncology experience (preferably immuno-oncology and melanoma) required.
- Knowledge of clinical research design and GCP in oncology/immuno-oncology.
- Understanding of clinical trial design/study analysis, including HEOR/cost effectiveness.
- Understanding of local healthcare systems and treatment guidelines.
- Strong communication/presentation skills; ability to convey complex science tailored to audiences.
- Ability to build trust with KOLs, investigators, HCPs, and institutions; knowledge of relevant laws/regulations.
- Travel: 60%.
- Territory: Southwest (Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico).

Salary: $170,000–$225,000.
