Role: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Medical Affairs (Remote US)
Territory: KY, TN, AL, MS, AR, LA
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary field-based point of contact with healthcare providers (HCPs) and clinical investigators.
- Deliver and facilitate medical education and communications, research, and scientific insight gathering.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of immuno-oncology/disease areas and Immunocore products/competitors/therapeutic options.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align activities to Immunocore medical strategy and ensure best patient care.
- Build and maintain relationships with KOLs to expand research, advisory, and educational opportunities.
- Ensure ethical compliance and adherence to local regulations.
- Act as an educational resource internally; serve as external scientific expert at HCP meetings, conferences, advisory boards, investigator meetings, and patient advocacy meetings.
- Respond to unsolicited requests for balanced medical information.
- Lead congress symposiums and other educational programs; support early access programs.
- Identify/map HCPs and referral patterns; disseminate key field insights to cross-functional partners.
- Support congress planning; resolve HCP needs/issues.
- Support trial site identification; facilitate communication with investigators.
- Lead ESR proposal collation/review and setup/maintenance of approved externally sponsored studies.
Qualifications / Experience
- 3–5+ years MSL experience.
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD).
- 3+ years oncology experience (preferably immuno-oncology and melanoma).
- Knowledge of clinical research design and GCP (oncology/immune oncology).
- Strong understanding of trial design/study analysis, including HEOR/cost-effectiveness.
- Knowledge of local healthcare systems and treatment guidelines.
- Ability to build trust with KOLs, investigators, HCPs, institutions.
- Knowledge of relevant laws/regulations; excellent presentation/communication skills.
- Ability to tailor complex scientific information to audiences.
- Travel: 60%.

- $170,000–$225,000.
