Location/Territory: US Remote (East PA, NY, NJ, DE, and MD)
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary field point of contact with HCPs/clinical investigators for medical and scientific issues.
- Deliver and facilitate medical education and communications, research, and scientific insight gathering.
- Maintain deep, self-driven knowledge of immuno-oncology/disease areas and Immunocore/competitor products and therapeutic options.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams; align activities to Immunocore and medical strategy.
- Maintain synergistic relationships with KOLs to expand research, advisory, and educational partnerships.
- Ensure activities meet ethical compliance, ethics, and safety standards and applicable local regulations/laws.
- Act as an educational resource to internal stakeholders and as an external scientific expert at HCP meetings, conferences, advisory boards, and investigator/patient advocacy settings.
- Respond to unsolicited medical information requests; proactively provide medical education as permitted.
- Lead congress symposiums and other educational programs; deliver tailored clinical presentations.
- Support early access programs.
- Identify/map HCPs and referral patterns; gather and disseminate field insights; resolve HCP needs/issues for best patient care.
- Support congress planning and implementation.
- Support clinical operations for trial site identification; facilitate communication with investigators on trials, investigator-sponsored studies, and enrollment barriers.
- Lead ESR proposal collation/review and set-up/maintenance of approved studies.
Qualifications/Experience:
- 3–5+ years of MSL experience.
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD).
- 3 years oncology experience (preferably immuno-oncology and melanoma) required.
- Knowledge of clinical research design and GCP in oncology/immuno-oncology.
- Strong understanding of trial design/study analysis and HEOR/cost effectiveness approaches.
- Knowledge of local healthcare systems and treatment guidelines.
- Ability to build trust with KOLs, investigators, HCPs, institutions, and peers; knowledge of relevant laws/regulations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to tailor complex scientific information to audiences.
- Travel: 60%.
Benefits/Compensation:
- Annual salary range: $170,000–$225,000; eligible for standard medical/dental/vision, time off, 401k, and annual incentive plans.
