Responsibilities
- Engage in continuous learning to maintain in-depth technical expertise in the assigned therapeutic area.
- Serve as a reliable, trusted resource for unbiased, accurate, up-to-date medical/scientific information.
- Spend the majority of time on customer-facing activities; act as a primary interface between Lilly medical and SEs/CEs.
- Connect SEs/CEs with internal resources/partners and facilitate collaborative research and external opportunities.
- Demonstrate strategic analysis, planning, and prioritization; implement and evaluate a strategic territory plan; use territory analytics for customer identification and routing prioritization.
- Synthesize and communicate actionable customer/clinical insights to internal medical and cross-functional teams; use good judgment and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Execute the role compliantly, adhering to governing internal/external requirements, procedures, and laws.

Basic Qualifications
- Advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD) required; 2–3 years relevant clinical/therapeutic-area experience desired.
- Master’s or bachelor’s in health sciences (e.g., BSN, RPh, PA, NP) considered with 5+ years clinical, research, or industry experience.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly does not sponsor visas.

Additional Skills/Preferences
- Oncology (Breast/Gynecology Oncology) experience strongly preferred; hospital/outpatient patient experience.
- Live in Detroit, Cleveland, or Cincinnati area (access to hub airport).
- Travel overnight 50–70%; work 4–6 weekends/year.
- Intellectual curiosity; ability to comprehend and communicate complex scientific content.
- Experience servicing customer needs for complex information; work with demanding clients.
- Strong self-management, multitasking, teamwork/interpersonal, presentation/computer skills; literature evaluation.
- Professional networking; field-based environment experience; familiarity with academic/medical research and education.
- Effective verbal and written communication.

Benefits (as stated)
- Anticipated wage: $151,500–$244,200; eligibility for company bonus; comprehensive benefits including 401(k), pension, vacation, medical/dental/vision/prescription, flexible benefits, life insurance, time off/leave, and well-being benefits.
