Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary field-based point of contact with healthcare providers (HCPs), including clinical investigators, delivering and facilitating medical education and communications, research, and scientific insight gathering.
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of immuno-oncology, relevant disease areas, Immunocore products, competitor products, and therapeutic options.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to coordinate activities with medical strategy and support best patient care.
- Maintain and develop relationships with KOLs to expand research, advisory, and educational partnerships.
- Ensure activities meet ethical compliance and safety standards and applicable local regulations.
Education/Communication:
- Act as an educational resource to internal stakeholders.
- Serve as an external scientific expert at HCP field meetings, conferences, advisory boards, investigator meetings, and patient advocacy group meetings.
- Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information in a balanced/objective manner.
- Lead congress symposiums and other educational programs; provide tailored clinical presentations.
- Support early access programs.
Insight Gathering and Research:
- Identify/map HCPs and referral patterns; capture and disseminate key field insights.
- Support congress planning; engage to resolve HCP needs/issues.
- Support trial site identification; facilitate investigator engagement; lead review/collation of ESR proposals and maintenance of approved studies.
Qualifications/Experience:
- 3–5+ years of MSL experience.
- MD, PhD, or PharmD.
- 3 years oncology experience (preferably immuno-oncology and melanoma).
- Knowledge of clinical research design and GCP in oncology/immune-oncology.
- Strong understanding of trial design, study analysis, and HEOR/cost-effectiveness.
- Knowledge of local healthcare systems and treatment guidelines.
- Excellent presentation/communication skills; ability to tailor complex scientific information.
- Ability to build trust with KOLs/investigators/HCPs and demonstrate knowledge of relevant laws/regulations.
- Travel: 60%.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- $170,000–$225,000; eligible for medical/dental/vision, time off, 401k, and annual incentive plans (contingent).
Location:
- Remote US; Atlantic Territory (VA, DC, NC, SC, GA, FL).
Annual incentive plan details are contingent on personal and company performance; actual compensation may vary by geography and experience.
