Responsibilities
- Maintain continuous learning to provide unbiased, accurate, up-to-date medical/scientific information.
- Spend majority of time on customer-facing engagement; serve as primary interface between Lilly Medical and Scientific/Clinical Experts (SEs/CEs).
- Connect SEs/CEs with internal Lilly resources, facilitate collaborative research and external opportunities.
- Own a territory: analyze, plan, prioritize core activities, evaluate results, use territory analytics for customer identification/routing.
- Synthesize and communicate actionable customer/clinical insights to internal and cross-functional teams; use good judgment and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Execute role compliantly with governing requirements; demonstrate Team Lilly behaviors (Include, Innovate, Accelerate, Deliver).
Basic Requirements
- Advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD/MD/PhD) with 2–3 years relevant clinical/therapeutic-area experience desired.
OR Masters/bachelor’s in health sciences (e.g., BSN/RPh/PA/NP) with 5+ years relevant clinical/research/industry experience.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time (no visa sponsorship).
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Additional Preferences
- Cardiometabolic therapeutic area experience (strongly preferred).
- Travel up to 80%; work 4–6 weekends/year; live near transport hub.
- Intellectual curiosity, learning agility, self-directed field work, strong communication/presentation/computer skills.
- Strategic/critical thinking; resilience; teamwork/emotional intelligence; networking experience.
- Familiarity with health systems/academia/research/medical education (highly valued).
Compensation & Benefits (eligible employees)
- Anticipated base pay: $151,500–$244,200; company bonus may apply.
