Purpose
Scientific/Medical Experts (SEs/CEs) need in-depth scientific information. This MSL role supports SEs/CEs in Southern Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide leading scientific/clinical knowledge by synthesizing the latest research on products, disease states, and standard of care.
- Act as a primary interface between Lilly Medical and SEs/CEs; support HCPs in sharing evidence and addressing clinical care gaps.
- Connect SEs/CEs with internal Lilly resources; facilitate collaborative research opportunities.
- Partner with clinical development to deliver disease-state/scientific information aligned with study site identification, selection, and recruitment.
- Analyze customer data; plan/prioritize face-to-face and virtual engagements; implement and execute a territory plan using analytics.
- Synthesize and communicate actionable customer/clinical insights; use good judgment and escalate issues as appropriate; execute compliantly with internal/external requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD/MD/PhD) + 2β3 years relevant clinical experience; OR BSN/RPh/PA/NP (or similar) + 5+ years clinical, research, or industry experience in a relevant therapeutic area.
- Authorized to work in the US full-time (Lilly does not sponsor visas).
- Valid US driverβs license and acceptable driving record.

- Learning agility; strategic/critical thinking.
- Prefer GI and/or thoracic oncology TA; field-based experience; knowledge of health systems/education; digital HCP engagement (e.g., Zoom).
Location/Travel
- Live within the geography near a transport hub or be relocatable.
- Travel up to 80% including weekends.
