Purpose
Scientific and Clinical Experts (SEs/CEs) require in-depth scientific information. This field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role provides unbiased, accurate, up-to-date medical and scientific knowledge and facilitates scientific exchange with SEs/CEs. Supports interactions primarily in Southern Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky.

Primary Responsibilities
- Provide scientific/clinical knowledge to address clinical care gaps and clarify nuanced research questions.
- Synthesize and communicate the latest research on products, disease states, and standard of care for specific indications/therapeutic areas.
- Serve as an interface between Lilly Medical and SEs/CEs to support improved patient outcomes.
- Connect SEs/CEs with internal resources; facilitate collaborative research opportunities.
- Partner with clinical development to support studies and investigators for evidence generation.
- Analyze customer data; plan/prioritize engagement using face-to-face and virtual methods.
- Execute a strategic territory plan; use territory analytics for identification/routing.
- Synthesize and communicate actionable customer/clinical insights to internal and cross-functional teams; escalate issues as appropriate.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
- Advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD) with 2โ€“3 years clinically relevant experience; OR
- Masterโ€™s/bachelorโ€™s in health sciences (e.g., BSN, RPh, PA, NP) with 5+ years clinical/research/industry experience in relevant therapeutic area.
- Authorization to work in the United States full-time; no sponsorship/visa support.
- Valid U.S. driverโ€™s license and acceptable driving record.

- Ability to leverage field-based tools and virtual engagement platforms.
- Strongly preferred: gastrointestinal and/or thoracic oncology TA experience; field-based environment experience.

Location/Travel
- Live within geography near a transport hub or be relocatable.
- Travel up to 80% including weekend commitments.

Compensation/Benefits (if applicable)
- Anticipated wage: $151,500โ€“$244,200. Full-time employees may be eligible for a company bonus and a comprehensive benefits program (e.g., 401(k), medical/dental/vision, flexible benefits, life insurance, time off, well-being).
