Medical Science Liaison (MSL) โ Gastroenterology (St. Louis or Kansas City)
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide scientific and clinical knowledge by synthesizing latest research on products, disease states, and standard of care.
- Act as a primary interface between Lilly Medical and SEs/CEs; support evidence sharing and address clinical care gaps.
- Connect SEs/CEs with other Lilly resources; facilitate collaborative research and partner with clinical development for study/investigator support.
- Execute field territory plans (face-to-face and virtual), using territory analytics for customer identification/routing; meet performance expectations with compliant customer partnerships.
- Synthesize and communicate actionable customer/clinical insights to internal and cross-functional teams; escalate issues as appropriate.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
- Advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD/MD/PhD) + 2โ3 years clinically relevant experience.
- OR masterโs/bachelorโs in health sciences (e.g., BSN/RPh/PA/NP) + 5+ years clinical, research, or industry experience in a relevant therapeutic area.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time; Lilly does not sponsor visas.
- Valid U.S. driverโs license and acceptable driving record.

- Strongly preferred: Hematology/Oncology/GU experience; field-based experience; familiarity with health systems/academia/research/medical education; virtual engagement tools (e.g., Zoom).
Compensation/Benefits (if eligible)
- Anticipated wage: $151,500โ$244,200; company bonus eligibility; comprehensive benefits (e.g., 401(k), medical/dental/vision, life insurance, flexible benefits, time off, well-being benefits).
