Responsibilities
- Engage in continuous learning to maintain technical expertise and provide unbiased, accurate, up-to-date medical/scientific information.
- Spend majority of time on customer-facing activities; serve as a primary interface between Lilly Medical and Scientific/Clinical Experts (SEs/CEs).
- Connect SEs/CEs with internal Lilly resources/partners as appropriate; facilitate collaborative research and external opportunities.
- Own/execute territory strategy: analyze, plan, prioritize core MSL activities; use territory analytics for customer identification and routing; take accountability for results.
- Synthesize and communicate actionable customer/clinical insights to internal medical and cross-functional teams; use sound judgment and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Demonstrate Team Lilly Behaviors; execute role compliantly with governing requirements/procedures/laws.
Basic Qualifications
- Advanced degree in health sciences (PharmD/MD/PhD medically related) + 2โ3 years relevant experience (desired).
- OR bachelorโs/masterโs in health sciences (e.g., BSN/RPh/PA/NP) with 5+ years clinical, research, or industry experience in relevant therapeutic area.
- Valid US driverโs license with acceptable driving record.
- Full-time US work authorization; Lilly does not sponsor visas.
Additional Skills/Preferences
- Travel up to 80%; work 4โ6 weekends/year.
- Live near Denver or SLC airport.
- Dermatology scientific curiosity; learning agility; self-directed field work.
- Advanced presentation/computer skills; literature identification.
- Strategic/critical thinking; strong verbal/written communication.
- Ability to use field-based electronic communication tools.
