Purpose
Scientific and Clinical Experts (SEs/CEs) support the MSL role, which provides in-depth, up-to-date medical and scientific information and facilitates exchange between Lilly Medical and scientific communities.

Primary Responsibilities
- Provide precise synthesis of latest research on products, disease states, and standard of care for specific indications/therapeutic areas.
- Interface with SEs/CEs to support healthcare providers (HCPs) in sharing evidence, addressing clinical care gaps, and improving patient outcomes.
- Connect SEs/CEs with Lilly resources; facilitate collaborative research.
- Partner with clinical development to support studies and investigators and accelerate evidence generation (aligned with site identification/selection/recruitment).
- Analyze customer data; plan/prioritize field engagement (face-to-face and virtual) using territory analytics.
- Execute a strategic territory plan; assume personal accountability for performance.
- Synthesize and communicate actionable customer/clinical insights to internal and cross-functional teams; escalate issues as appropriate.
- Work collaboratively and execute compliantly with governing requirements and laws.

Minimum Qualifications
- Advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD/MD/PhD) with 2–3 years clinically relevant experience, OR
- BSN/RPh/PA/NP or similar with 5+ years clinical/research/industry experience in relevant therapeutic area.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time (no visa sponsorship).
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

- Ability to leverage digital platforms for virtual HCP engagement.
- Strong strategic/critical thinking.
- Strongly preferred: cardiometabolic health experience; field-based experience; familiarity with health systems/academic communities.

Location/Travel
- Live in the geography near a transport hub.
- Travel up to 80%; weekend commitments.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- Anticipated wage: $151,500–$244,200.
- Eligible for company bonus (performance-dependent).
