Medical Affairs
Purpose
- Provide leading scientific and clinical knowledge to researchers and practitioners; synthesize the latest research on products, disease states, and standards of care; establish as a trusted, unbiased resource.

Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary interface between Lilly Medical and Scientific/Clinical Experts (SEs/CEs) to support HCPs in sharing evidence and addressing clinical care gaps.
- Connect SEs/CEs with appropriate Lilly resources; facilitate collaborative research opportunities.
- Partner with clinical development to support studies, accelerate pipeline/evidence generation, and deliver disease state/scientific information for site identification, selection, and recruitment.
- Analyze customer data; plan and prioritize face-to-face and virtual engagement.
- Implement a strategic territory plan, using analytics/tools for customer identification/routing prioritization and meet performance expectations.
- Synthesize and communicate actionable customer/clinical insights to internal and cross-functional teams; use judgment and escalate issues as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications
- Advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD) with 2–3 years clinically relevant experience.
- OR Masters/bachelor in health sciences (e.g., BSN, RPh, PA, NP) with 5+ years clinical, research, or industry experience in a relevant therapeutic area.
- Authorized to work in the US full-time (no visa sponsorship).
- Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

- Ability to manage complex challenges; intellectual curiosity; learning agility.
- Strategic/critical thinking; ability to leverage field-based digital tools.
- Strong preference: cardiometabolic health experience; field-based experience; familiarity with health systems/academia/medical education; knowledge of virtual HCP engagement (e.g., Zoom).

Location/Travel
- Live within geography near a transport hub.
- Travel up to 80% and weekend commitments.
