How You Will Contribute
- Contribute to agile planning, development, and implementation of medical communication and scientific training plans and content for assigned brands/pipeline therapies.
- Maintain and independently update medical communications materials (scientific platforms, core slide decks, communication/digital plans).
- Design and develop scientific and disease/product training content for US Medical teams, including MSLs and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to reflect latest scientific data and align with medical objectives.
- Regularly update content with advances in Takeda therapeutic areas/products.
- Develop innovative training content channels for different learner preferences.
- Monitor learning outcomes via assessments/evaluations.
- Use AI/digital-enabled approaches to improve efficiency.
- Manage project delivery (strategy, budget, timelines) and partner cross-functionally to align training with organizational objectives.

What You Bring to Takeda (Qualifications/Skills)
- Advanced degree (MPH/MS/PhD/MD/PharmD) in a biosciences discipline.
- 4+ years related experience in pharma or medical communications.
- 3+ years in Medical Affairs, including medical communications.
- Proven leadership of individuals and cross-functional teams.
- Experience implementing medical communications/congress programs (omnichannel and digital tools).
- Excellent written/oral communication; ability to work across diverse therapeutic areas.
- Budget/resource and vendor management experience.
- Digital technology + AI experience (e.g., generative AI, analytics, visualization) to enhance strategy and drive change.
- Experience with Articulate (RISE/360) and Veeva (Vault/PromoMats).
- Understanding of clinical development and product life-cycle management.
- Strong ability writing scientific decks/reports/materials.
- Ability to interpret medical/scientific data, develop strategic messaging, and understand compliance/regulations.
