Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and execution of the publication plan; provide expertise to the matrix team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (including external collaborators) to develop strategic publication plans; anticipate risks, identify solutions, monitor healthcare/treatment landscape changes, and adjust plans accordingly.
- Serve as subject matter expert for publication-related matters; partner with internal/external disease-area experts to ensure high-quality analysis, interpretation, communication, and publication of data.
- Liaise with agency/vendor partners to ensure timely delivery of quality publications (direction, content review, and adherence to processes).
- Manage the annual publication budget and resources; ensure contracts/SOWs/invoices are submitted accurately and on time.
- Provide SME input for creation or updates to departmental SOPs to improve processes.
- Provide strategic and project management oversight for key projects; identify issues and propose resolutions.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to represent Medical Affairs as needed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s, Masterโ€™s, or Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD) in a life-sciences discipline.
- 7+ years progressive biopharmaceutical industry experience.
- 2+ years Medical Affairs experience; CMPP certification desirable.
- Oncology (solid tumor or hematologic malignancies) clinical, research, or medical communications experience required.
- Expertise in scientific publication strategy, planning, and execution across drug development and commercialization.
- Matrix environment experience.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, planning/communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of good publication practices/guidance (GPP, ICMJE) and clinical trial design, statistical methods, and data reporting.
- Open, engaging, transparent; comfortable with conflict and pushback.
- Global mindset; ability to work across geographies.
- Travel ~10% domestic/international.
