Associate Director, Medical Affairs - Content Studio Technology Lead

Responsibilities
- Own and operate the content production function as a managed service for Medical Affairs, delivering email/web/dynamic HTML interactive content and multi-format deliverables on time and to brand/regulatory/compliance standards.
- Manage intake, prioritization, and capacity planning across therapeutic areas; define production standards, quality gates, review processes, SLAs, turnaround benchmarks, and throughput reporting dashboards.
- Lead and develop a content production team (HTML authoring, email builds, interactive content, asset adaptation) and partner with design agencies for compliant creative-to-build handoffs.
- Stand up future-state offshore/distributed production capability with processes, training, QA, and governance for global↔local derivative workflows.
- Evaluate, implement, and operationalize AI-powered content authoring/production tools; build AI-assisted workflows to accelerate production and localization while meeting AI governance/compliance.
- Own/guide content authoring platforms and production infrastructure (tech stack, integrations, version control/traceability) aligned to the content vision and roadmap.
Qualifications
- Master’s + 8 years OR Bachelor’s + 10 years in medical content production/digital content operations/creative production management.
- Familiarity with Medical Affairs content types; HTML authoring/digital production; CMS/DAM platforms in pharma/life sciences.
Preferred
- Team leadership in content/digital ops; deep HTML/responsive email/dynamic interactive web expertise.
- Experience implementing AI content tools; running production as a managed service (SLAs/intake/quality gates).
- Experience with distributed/offshore production; design-agency partnership; Medical Affairs regulatory/compliance workflows.
Location: Onsite in Foster City or Parsippany; at least 3 days/week.
Salary/Benefits: Bay Area $195,670–$253,220; other US $177,905–$230,230. May include bonus/stock/paid time off and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life.
