The Role
Associate Director, Strategic Planning and Effectiveness Lead for Medical Affairs Capabilities (MAC) focused on operational excellence across the portfolio.

Work arrangement:
- Flexibility to work away from the office 20%–40% of the schedule; approved by the hiring manager.

Key Responsibilities
- Refine process frameworks for contracting, resource tracking, and budget reconciliation to strengthen transparency and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with finance and stakeholders to review monthly budgets, ensuring accuracy of accruals, invoices, and related budget management.
- Establish project governance, KPIs, dashboards, and measurement frameworks for transparency and decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation to shorten cycle times and improve stakeholder experience.
- Collaborate across MAC, Digital & Analytics, and enabling functions to adopt new processes/tools/technologies.
- Develop agendas, facilitate meetings, document action items, and drive communication/accountability.
- Support leadership/executive meeting preparation, including presentations and briefings.
- Advise MAC leadership on operating rhythm, planning cycles, and investment decisions.

Qualifications & Experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
- 3+ years in resource planning, contracting strategy, or Strategy & Operations (ideally Commercialization or Medical Affairs).
- Knowledge of financial planning systems (e.g., SAP) and contract lifecycle tools (e.g., DocuSign).
- Understanding of Medical Affairs Capabilities Systems (Steeprock, IRMS, iEnvision) highly valued.
- Proven ability to build scalable processes integrating strategy, finance, and execution.
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
