The SoC Commercial Lead – Gastroenterology is responsible for defining, implementing, and leading the Standard of Care (SoC) commercial strategy across the gastroenterology portfolio, driving disease area leadership, elevating patient outcomes, and setting benchmarks for clinical and commercial excellence in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute an SoC roadmap for the IBD portfolio as the treatment of choice for HCPs, patients, and payers.
- Integrate SoC principles across brand strategies, launch plans, and educational initiatives.
- Lead strategic planning and market-shaping aligned to therapeutic vision and business goals.
Commercial Execution
- Design and deploy commercial models and engagement frameworks to accelerate SoC adoption.
- Partner with analytics/insights to track SoC performance indicators and optimize promotional investments.
- Implement data-driven value communication connecting clinical outcomes to real-world benefits.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Align SoC narratives and evidence generation plans with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Corporate Affairs.
- Adapt global strategies with local/regional commercial leads.
- Serve as internal SoC champion across functional and country teams.
External Engagement
- Build partnerships with key opinion leaders, patient associations, and professional societies.
- Represent the company at major congresses (e.g., ECCO, UEGW, DDW).
- Support policy and access initiatives facilitating SoC adoption.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Business Administration, or related field (required).
- Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) (preferred).
- 10+ years pharma industry experience; 5+ years in commercial leadership (required).
- Experience in Gastroenterology, Immunology, or related areas.
- Success in launch strategy, market-shaping, or SoC transformation.
- Strong cross-functional leadership in matrixed environments.
