KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Map the patient journey and identify barriers to patient access.
- Define and oversee analytical solutions explaining drivers/barriers impacting patient outcomes.
- Establish KPIs and manage dashboards showing performance of access solutions (Copay, FRMs, Prior Authorization enablement).
- Use third-party vendors (IQVIA, Symphony, Relay Health, CoverMyMeds) to facilitate and accelerate the patient journey.
- Identify/address program execution and performance issues with multiple stakeholder perspectives.
- Lead/perform primary market research as needed (hybrid; analytics ~75% / research ~25%).
- Lead integration with Market Access and Brand MAPS teams to onboard and drive adoption of new tools/capabilities.
- Collaborate with CCOE, APS, Data Operations, BTS, and Brand teams on data reliability/timeliness/metric hygiene.
- Support copay forecasting and generate insights on impacts from copay design changes and industry/competitor actions.
- Leverage sophisticated analytic models meeting business (cost/risk/impact) and technical (reliability/validity/predictability) criteria.
- Lead contractors/suppliers and mentor junior team members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelorโs degree (Business/Analytics/Economics/Math/Statistics/Engineering or related); Masterโs a plus.
- 8+ yearsโ experience in quantitative analysis (operational, sales, or marketing data) to optimize a patient/customer funnel.
- Pharma ecosystem/datasets knowledge (e.g., prescribing, sales, payer/formulary, Symphony/IQVIA claims).
- Strong leadership and ability to partner with corporate functions/senior management.
- Proficiency in anticipating needs, building partnerships, designing/implementing solutions, simplifying complex information, and communicating insights.
- Experience guiding onshore/offshore contractors.
- Self-driven and comfortable working with imperfect data.
- Highly desired: R, Python, Dataiku, SAS, SPSS; BI tools (Qlik/Tableau/Power BI) and SQL/HIVE/IMPALA preferred.
