Main Responsibilities
- Execute and lead market research projects to support brand strategy, including identifying research needs, vendor selection, study design, execution, and interpretation.
- Select the best vendors based on business objectives.
- Manage projects within budgets, schedules, and corporate policies/SOPs.
- Explore innovative techniques to address business questions and identify insight needs.
- Foster strong agency partnerships and coordinate vendors throughout the research process.
- Provide business/brand knowledge to support fieldwork, material, and report development.
- Communicate actionable, audience-tailored insights: develop/refine presentations, synthesize multiple data sources, and provide recommendations based on strategic business acumen.
- Collaborate in a matrix environment with brand and cross-functional teams (e.g., forecasting, analytics, patient services) to deliver integrated insights.
- Lead and develop Sr. Manager/Manager roles where applicable.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/MS/MD/PhD preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical market research experience (consulting firms, research agencies/vendors, or pharmaceutical companies); with advanced degree, minimum 3 years may qualify.
- Strong end-to-end knowledge of quantitative and qualitative market research, including quantitative analytics, data analysis, and statistics.
- Proven ability to recommend, plan, and lead market research projects.
- Demonstrated expertise incorporating AI into research methodologies.
- Strong project management skills; ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Preferred: experience with pharmaceutical data sources (prescription/sales data, patient claims, promotional audits).
- Plus: experience partnering with new product planning, marketing, value & access.
