Overview
The Associate Director of Market Insights will develop and execute primary and secondary market research plans to support US TTR commercial priorities across patient audiences. Works with US Commercial Team, Business and Competitive Intelligence, Data and Analytics, Global Market Insights, Legal, Finance, and Compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to identify key business questions.
- Develop the annual market research plan.
- Design, execute, and communicate qualitative and quantitative research to deliver actionable insights.
- Synthesize customer insights with other partners for a holistic market understanding.
- Provide insights to shape Global/US Situational Assessments in the Brand Planning cycle.
- Identify and pilot innovative market research methodologies.
- Integrate secondary data and advanced analytics to address business questions.
- Deliver projects on time and on budget; make tradeoffs as needed.
- Ensure compliance with codes of conduct and internal policies, including pharmacovigilance.
- Provide guidance/mentorship; delegate tasks with accountability.
- Align teams around shared goals; ensure appropriate use of insights.
- Make informed decisions under incomplete/uncertain data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA or post-graduate degree preferred.
- 7+ years marketing/market research; minimum 5 years market research in pharma/biotech.
- Mastery of market research methodologies.
- Experience in rare disease desired; multiple therapeutic areas.
- Strong communication skills; ability to convey technical details to technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to influence across functions and all levels; US and Global experience.
- Compliance & best practices expertise.
- Travel up to 15%.
Pay/Benefits (as stated)
- Base pay range: $165,800.00–$224,200.00; eligible for annual short-term incentive and annual long-term incentive (e.g., equity).
